Another year, another delightful harvest from Yovanny Portela and Bella Horizonte! It is late spring and we are kicking off our first single-producer Colombian coffee of the season. It is our fourth year purchasing coffee from Yovanny. This lot is balanced and beautiful, brimming with toffee sweetness. In the aroma, there's citrus, nougat, and vanilla. On the palate is the structured, tropical fruit medley flavors of kiwi and cantaloupe, complimented by a gentle orange acidity. The finish is pleasantly sweet with notes of caramel and milk chocolate.
