We are very excited to welcome fresh crop Ethiopian back to our menu; coffee from Tayebo Aba Bulga. Tayebo hails from Gomma Ethiopia and is a member of the Tokuma Farmer Group, a group focusing on producing transparent and quality coffee out of Jimma. We have purchased coffee from other members of this group for the past couple of years, namely, coffees from Nesru and Mohammad and so we are excited to add another coffee from a member of the group to our menu. 

An ode to kicking off the summer season just right, we start with Tayebo’s coffee. Bringing us much joy with a classical citrus and floral flavor profile; this coffee is clean, crisp and exhibits soft aromatics. 

On the nose, you might smell the florality of Chrysanthemum and Lavender. In the foreground of this profile, you’ll notice a sparkling sweetness; blending lemon candy and raspberry with a confectionery & caramel-ey linger. Like a chamomile tea, the aftertaste leaves herbal and breathy. Complementing its sweetness is the mouthfeel, that coats the palate with pillowy and silky texture. Brew yourself a cup of this coffee; hot or iced, and soak in the summer rays or power through those summer storms. Regardless of the moment, this coffee brings the joy that comes with those longer, sunnier days of the summertime and you know we’re here for it.
