We're excited to bring back coffee from Doña Lucinda Puac Perez to our menu this year! Her coffee brings so many desired flavors at a time when days get shorter and the weather gets chillier here in the Mid-Atlantic. This is our third year featuring Lucinda’s coffee on our menu and similar to last year, we're tasting a lot of sweet characteristics that make this coffee satiating. The sweetness we perceive comes in the form of white chocolate; a very confectionary quality matched with a creamy body. Meanwhile, the acidity brings berries and red winter fruits to the palate. We notice a blackberry jammy quality that, unlike last year, turns into pomegranate as it cools. We took about the same approach to roasting her coffee this year as the last, highlighting a lot of those sweet characteristics for the winter season. Lucinda’s coffee is one of those coffees that is, simply put, chuggable. Now, in no way are we recommending that you glug and chug your coffee in the morning, though you may find it hard not to with this one.
