If you've been with us from the start, you may remember the intensely fruited La Encenada of our inaugural menu. Coffees from Huehuetenango are known for berry and cocoa sweetness (which you may also remember shining in last year's 10th Anniversary selection for Peregrine Espresso). This year’s La Encenada lands somewhere between those punchy tastes and the classic regional profile: bright cups of medium-bodied, nutty, fruited, and lightly floral notes with clean, lingering aftertastes.

Fruit in this lot comes by way of our crisp, refreshing malic friend, the apple, and is supported by sweet baking spices and a touch of creaminess to remind us of apple pie. We also taste chewy caramels, sweet nuttiness, and cocoa. A perfect cup of comfort to start your day.
