Candelaria is a meticulously processed lot from our friends at Bella Vista in Antigua, Guatemala, that presents a pleasing, balanced reflection of its origin. Antiguan coffees are known for bright, sweet notes of stone fruit and cane sugar. Candelaria ticks the comfort coffee version of these boxes: it’s smooth and sweet and tastes great black or with milk. We enjoy its big red apple sweetness, a range of chocolates - from semisweet chocolate chips to silky milk chocolate - toasted nuts, and allspice aromatics.
We love our more adventurous coffees, but sometimes you just want a hug in a cup. Candelaria brings those classic Central/South American coffee vibes, and we’re okay with some nostalgia in our cup. If only we could share it with you across a formica diner table.
